The tall pine has the barest hint of green through the softly falling flurry. I love looking out back... it makes me forget the busy road in front of our home. Our backyard is the place for deer, wild turkeys, woodchucks, chipmunks, ground hogs and the little red tailed fox. The cardinals live in the pines, such a beautiful streak of red when they fly by. None in the moment as they seem tired of the snow too. I love the subtle promise of the green.Anne
